Upgrading your device

The Apex payment application on your device is due for an upgrade to a redesigned experience, the Chase Payments application.

Your daily business processes will not change. You will be able to continue processing payments on this device with no need to change or process anything differently on your end.

In order to serve you better, Chase is updating your payment application. This will allow us to give you the most streamlined experience we can provide.

There is no action to be taken on your part. The upgrade process will happen outside of normal business operating hours. The upgrade process is quick and integrates directly into your device.

Absolutely! After ensuring that your batch is closed and that there are no open pre-authorizations on your device, click the “Upgrade to Chase Payments Now” option to begin.

There is currently no option to opt out of the Chase Payments application upgrade.

Chase Assist is a self-help app that sits right on your device. It will be used as an expansive content library, notification tool, and a resource for your business.

Use Chase Assist as a business-support tool and learn how to fully use your Chase Wireless Terminal (DX8000) device. Plenty of self-help features will be found within Chase Assist!
