Move/5000: Base association
Enable wireless communication between your terminal and a functional base. Learn how to associate your device to a functional base.
Base association
- Ensure that terminal is within range and is off the base.
- From the Home Screen with the Chase logo, press the green [Enter] key to access the Main Menu.
- From the Main Menu, select ADMIN with the gear icon on the bottom left of the screen.
- Select [3] for Setup Menu.
- Enter Manager ID and Password, then press Enter.
- Select [2] for Communications.
- Select [5] for Bluetooth.
- Select [1] for New Base.
- Terminal will prompt to dock terminal on the base.
- Terminal will display the Base Association OK prompt once the base is successfully connected.
- Terminal can then be lifted off the base.
