Move/5000: Base not found

 

Register and pair the terminal to the base. Learn how to troubleshoot a “Base not found” error.

 

 

Base not found

  1. Ensure that the terminal is within range and is off the base.

  2. From the Home Screen with the Chase logo, press # key to access the ADMIN MENU or tap on the ADMIN option.

  3. Select [3] for Setup Menu.

  4. Select [2] for Communications.

  5. Select [5] for Bluetooth®.

  6. Select [5] for Remove All Bases.

  7. The terminal confirms if the bases are removed.

  8. Once the terminal returns to Bluetooth Menu, press [1] for New Base.

  9. The terminal will prompt to dock the terminal on the base.

  10. The terminal will display, “Base Association OK", once the base is successfully connected.

  11. The terminal can then be lifted off the base.
